Greetings from Texas! I found your site while doing a search for something else! :) Jesse, your proposal to Rachel was much like my son-in-law Joe's proposal to my baby girl Rebekah. Being a Film graduate, he made a video and used "The Wedding Singer" proposal scene. (I know you like that movie too. Huh! I just realized "Jesse & Rachel", "Joseph & Rebekah"! J,R,J,R.:) Joe and Bek were married July 2005 in Georgia. Joe and his guys wore KILTS! 'Twas grand!) Anyway, your site is as charming as it seems the two of you are. I've enjoyed reading it all. God bless you both. Now -- when do we get to see some WEDDING PICTURES??!! :)

We're still 2 and a half years away from the 2012 Republican National Convention, but already I have come up with the perfect speech for whoever the candidate is (and here's hoping that nominee is Mike Huckabee).  I mean, it is absolutely perfect!  Just get a load of some of these awesome lines from it...

"The first Republican president once said, 'While the people retain their virtue and their vigilance, no administration by any extreme of wickedness or folly can seriously injure the government in the short space of 4 years.' If Mr. Lincoln could see what's happened in the last 3 1/2 years, he might hedge a little on that statement."

See?  Good stuff, huh!  I mean, just look at what Obama is trying to do here... national health care... national debt and deficit spending out of control (11 TRILLION!?!?!)... cap and tax... fake stimulous (a.k.a. porkulous).  Things could be really ugly by the time the nominee reads this speech!

Here's ...

New Feature for Forums - Subscriptions!
OK, so I don't know if any of you are like me, but sometimes I completely miss replies to certain topics because they get buried under newer topics.  There is an "Active Topics" feature, but right now it is very basic and only shows active topics since your last visit. (Maybe I will expand on Active Topics later, not sure)

Well, now I am happy to introduce the newest feature (100% hand coded as always!) to Pug's Forums...

Subscriptions!!

Now whenever someone replies to a topic that you have subscribed to, you will be sent an email notification that someone has replied.  Whenever you go to post a new topic or a new reply, you will see a little check box near the Submit button to add that topic to your subscriptions.

Right now I have that check box checked by default.  If you all think it would be better to have it unchecked by default, just let me know by replying to this topic.

I also made it very easy to see all your current subscriptions as well as remove any of them.  You can see your current subscriptions by clicking the "Manage My Subscriptions" in the Forum Control Panel. Click here to go see your subscriptions now.

As usual, please let me know what you think!  Thanks!
